Brian M. Bivens, D.M.D., M.S., PA
Dr. Bivens earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Florida, where he went on to receive his doctorate degree. He continued his education at the University of Louisville, where he received his Master of Science in Oral Biology and his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics.
It is extremely important to Dr. Bivens that he stays up-to-date on the latest advances in orthodontics. Every year he greatly exceeds the required amounts of continuing education. He has achieved the highest level of Invisalign education by being a graduate of the Invisalign Masters Program. Like many other things, technology in orthodontics has changed dramatically over the last few years and will continue to do so in the future. Dr. Bivens makes the commitment to his patients to always strive to make treatment more convenient, more comfortable, and faster by continuing to keep up with these changes.
In his time away from the office, Dr. Bivens enjoys playing with his children, fishing, boating, swimming, traveling and snow skiing. Dr. Bivens and his wife Jamie are proud parents of their daughters, Jaida and Siena, and their son, Brett.
Marina Kosturos, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. Marina Kosturos grew up in Northern California and received her bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in physiology and biology. Dr. Kosturos continued her education and received her DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She attained her Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry at the University of Colorado, and is board certified. She traded the mountains for the beach, and cannot wait to make Florida her forever home.
Dr. Marina loves orthodontics because it blends two of her favorite things: people and science. "I go to work every day and leave feeling like the luckiest person," she says. She is passionate about creating healthy, balanced, and beautiful smiles. She loves making meaningful connections with her patients along the way. If you want to butter her up, we have it on good authority that she loves ice cream, animals, and anything with peanut butter.
